Decentralized VPN Clocks 100,000 Global Users
Tachyon, a blockchain-based ecosystem, has a decentralized virtual private network (VPN), housing 100,000 users as of last month. This information was relayed by V Systems chief architect, Sunny King.
“Tachyon has started open pilot testing. Features are introduced step-by-step.” He added, “I’m delighted that Tachyon VPN has just reached 100,000 users globally this month, and I believe that eventually, it would enable a vibrant VPN service marketplace for the world.”
Tachyon And V Systems Synergy
Sunny King, Pseudonymous PoS, the creator is the chief architect for blockchain infrastructure called V Systems. King played a crucial role in helping Tachyon to start-up in its early days. “Tachyon is the first major V System enabled ecosystem project,” King said.
Overall, a VPN allows users to navigate the web anonymously. It masks the user’s location as well as the IP address.
“Tachyon is designed as a VPN services marketplace,” King explained. “It creates the necessary infrastructure for service providers and users to participate in a highly decentralized VPN marketplace.”
The Team Holds Previous VPN Experience
The team boasts of past knowledge and experience in the VPN world, and this is something Tachyon is hoping to take advantage of. “Tachyon is looking to harness decentralized tech for a robust level of security and privacy,” King said.
V System is looking to grow blockchain capabilities via the cloud and big data technology.
“The V Systems team, including myself, has provided and continues to provide blockchain infrastructure and technology services and solutions for Tachyon,” King included.
